The ban on the solidarity demonstration with the Exiles scheduled for October 1st in Calais (see here and here) has not finished making waves, neither has the abuse of the state of emergency to silence any questioning of government policy.
You have to go see the British and international media for an even slightly balanced presentation of the October 1st demonstration , the French media statement is for the most part the communication of the Prefecture of Pas-de-Calais, broadcast by the Agence France Presse.
In a statement of the 2nd October, the FSU (Unified trade union federation) of Nord Pas-de-Calais denounces this situation.

Militants and the support collective of the ZAD (Zone To Defend) of Notre-Dame-des-Landes, whose eviction has also been announced for this autumn by the Prime Minister, in a logic of “karcherising” resistance before the presidential election, also express their solidarity with the inhabitants of the Calais shantytown: http://zad.nadir.org/spip.php?article4057
