A Sudanese migrant arrived at the Mesnil Amelot detention center after refusing to board on a flight for his deportation to Sudan. He was arrested in Metz and confined in the detention center of this city. His appeal to cancel the deportation order to Sudan was rejected, his asylum application was also, as well as his appeal in front of the European Court of Human Rights. After a first boarding refusal, it is likely that he will not be notified in advance about the next flight intended to him.

You can call the interior minister to ask to cancel the deportation :

You can take example on this text (in french and in english below) :

Veuillez recevoir l’expression de mes salutations citoyennes. »

« Mister the Prefect / Mister the Minister,

You took the order to deport a Sudanese national to Sudan. After a boarding refusal, he currently is in the Mesnil-Amelot detention center, where he is facing the risk of a new deportation attempt.

Regarding the status of this country and the risk he is facing in case of return, I ask you to cancel your order.

As Amnesty International writes it : « Status of human rights in Sudan keep on being alarming, especially in conflicts areas as Darfour, South Kordofan or the Blue Nile State. Security agents are systematically questioning people who are sent back to Sudan. These services have often been responsible of serious violations of hman rights, as the use of arbitrary detention, torture and bad treatments. »

With publicly-spirited wishes. »

Every other quick demonstration of support is also welcome.
