The economic side of the control of the British border and the following violence is little studied. The work done by Corporate Watch researchers is therefore all the more interesting. Whether it is to list the companies involved in border control in Calais, in general, or those who participated more specifically in the destruction of the slum. Or sketch out how profit-seeking can influence policy decisions, the channels of influence that enable them to do so, the links that exist between different actors.
